Please welcome Dave Gibbs, our Chairman of the Clark County Republican Party (CCRP).  Dave was stationed as a pilot at Creech Air Force Base near Indian Springs just north of Las Vegas in 1999. During the next four years he served in Operations Southern Watch and Enduring Freedom in 2002, also serving on Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003. After 25 years of service, he retired from the UASF in November, 2003 and immediately jumped into Nevada politics, running for the Assembly as a Nevada Republican Candidate.

Dave is perhaps best known to those of us who have been associated with the (CCRP) over the past five years or so as the competent Parliamentarian who was always ready at a moment's notice to interpret Robert's Rules of Order - or the many complexities of the CCRP bylaws. He held that position from  2005 to 2009.   He also worked for Nevada Republican Senator Bob Beers' campaign in 2006 and for Nevada Republican Assemblyman John Hambrick's campaigns in 2008 and 2010.  In addition Dave is an accomplished and award winning Toastmaster who has led the Las Vegas Chapter of the Republican Toastmaster's Club to numerous awards over the last four years.

Dave works in the Defense Industry as a manager for Battlespace Flight services, a company dealing in the unmanned aviation industry.  He and Cathy have been married for 25 years and have two daughters, Kelly and Chelsea.

Tim Williams is the CCRP Political Director. There are only four words to describe Tim:"Dedicated Republican, 24/7". I can tell you that Congressman Mark Amodei would not been elected last year without Tim's tireless efforts to make it happen! Tim has graduated thru the Las Vegas Toastmaster ranks and has become an excellent, public Speaker.  We look forward to his update.

$5.00 EXPENSE DONATION IS REQUESTED:   We are a non-profit group that has monthly Restaurant Expense and as a professional courtesy, we pay for Special Guest Speaker (only) meals as well as other expenses that must be paid if we are to continue operating each month.  To offset these costs, we ask for a $5.00 donation in lieu of a membership fee from all attending, we thank you for supporting all that we do. 

FORMAT:  We follow Robert's Rules of Order.  This allows each speaker adequate time to give an important and meaningful presentation without interruption.  Teleprompters are not available so when a speaker loses his or her place when interrupted, this can be very confusing.  We do allow for Q&A after their presentation.  Please ask those important questions not statements during the Q&A.  Depending upon time constraints and number of speakers, we may ask that you be limited to one question.  Your courtesy is expected and appreciated.
